Three reasons to be cheerful

My last blog was rather brief (and all the better for it), but not very positive. As I have been asked to give a motivational speech at a charity event, I thought I should try a little harder to be positive.

So here are three things perking me up right now.

Reality TV

Now is the key season for reality shows. Apparently, it is not cool to admit you have an addiction to these programmes – but Strictly, Bake Off and Ru Paul make for such joyful, uplifting and inspirational watching. Although maybe it doesn’t reflect so well on me that my favourites are Married at First Sight, and most shameful of all, Made in Chelsea.

Cats

Aww, their cute little furry faces! I can also while away far too much time watching cat videos such as this one:  Pinky the very loving cat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnnpiM4dGTI

Drugs

By this I mean chocolate and coffee. Plus the occasional Cosmopolitan cocktail, ice cold, naturally. Whatever it takes – life is difficult, don’t beat yourself up if you need a crutch (or two).

And in order to keep this blog positive, I am not going to mention the clock going back at the end of the month, the end of the summer and DEFINITELY NOT the unavoidable approach of Christmas!
